EDUCATIONAL : SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
Education in Malaysia is an ongoing effort towards further development
of the potential of individuals in a holistic and integrated manner, so as to
produce individuals who are intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and
physically balanced and harmonious based on a firm belief in God. Such an
effort is destined to produce Malaysian citizens who are knowledgeable, who
possess high moral standards, and who are responsible and capable of achieving
a high level of personal well being as well as able to contribute to the
harmony and betterment of the nation at large (Ministry of Education, 1993)

At some stage before Malaysia’s
get independence, the education was been monitor under control by British
colonial government. All the education
and learning stuffs and method are under watch of the British. This condition
makes Tanah Melayu (Malaysia’s name before get independence) a little bit
behind from modernization.

But nowadays, along with
modernization of technologies, Malaysia’s educations have changed.
Educations nowadays are no longer
using only a book, blackboard and chalk. With existing technologies that we
have at this moment, students can better learning by using projector, online
classroom, video conferencing learning, etc.

Current research had shown that
students are more attract and interested in study if using modern technologies
in learning/study. Their productivity also increases at some point. This may
lead to successful in study.
Thanks to our ancestor for the
independence, we now can have this booming innovation.
